About Allissa Homan

I create a lot of things! I also write poems, scripts and do belly/gipsy dancing (not professional). I also make my own fashion (don't use a sowing machine, everything by hand!) and earrings!
When it comes to make-up, I'm very experienced...
I can turn the most miserable skin to a smooth, nice surface.
It started as fun when I did the make-up and hair for my younger sister and her friends when they went to visit a party, and since then I've been busy to develop more ways for make-up art, and now I can say I've got 13 years experience in make-up.
When I do my modelling I'm practically one whith my photographer, because I believe a gorgeous or great picture can only be created when model and photographer both know what they want and truely give 200% of their best skills to achieve what they want.
When it comes to art, I make drawings and paintings... mostly of animals, nature and such.
My art seems to be a mix of cartoonism and surreallism.
I also love acting and doing silly, extreme and natural characters!
I've done a komedian scene and 3 natural/romantic scenes so far.
When it comes to my voice most people think I've got a blues/jazzy voice,
and all I did with my voice was being in a church choir (twice) and participate in a contest at Taltopia.com (sing your heart out contest).

Location Netherlands, Friesland, Joure

Bio I've decided at the very young age of 5 that I wanted to heal animals or make people beautiful, but mostly I wanted to become FAMOUS.
From the very beginning that I could walk my mum put me some make-up on and did my hair and placed me at a couch of against the wall to make some pictures of me.
After that the modelling was stimulated by a lot of people I knew.
They all thought I got what it took to become a topmodel, length, slender build, big eyes, long hair.
And at the age of 15 it was stimulated more, but in the end it didn't go too well because of my skinnyness....
At the age of 18 lots of modelling agencies thought I was too skinny, and at the age of 21 when I got my feminine curves, the interest finally grew and from the age of 23, almost 24 my modelling career was launched as a rocket!
In total I've done 4 modelling contests, 4 catwalk castings, 1 screening, 2 filmshoots, 3 promo assignments and 20 photoshoots, so far.

Influences My family has had a lot of influence on me...
They all were artistic people with musical, art interests.
None of them has ever become a model though.
That made me a lot different from the rest of my family.
I was always a lot taller then everyone else, I had really dark hair compared to everyone else, a very different posture then everyone else and ofcourse my characteristics in general were different from all of them.
That made me more on my own that I actually wanted, and despite of that I have a really strong bound with my younger half sister.
I've also been through a lot of misery and despite the fact that others became topmodel through my help and I never got recognition for it, I never became bitter and I still have hope my time will come in the end.
Because of what I've been through I've become a really social and flexible person who seldom looses her temper.
