I work fulltime as a lingerie seamstress for Rigby and Peller which is predominantly a practical role but I also enjoy the design process especially working with fabric and colour. I have experience as a designer for a coastal casual fashion brand called Seasalt where my responsibilites included creating moodboards, choosing colour palettes, designing prints, ordering and checking lab dip trials and creating CAD images for both illustration and technical purposes.
Whilst my specialism lies within lingerie I'm learning dress making skills and recently made a silk and lace wedding dress that I wore on my Big Day back in September!
I love many arts and crafts and regularly work on creative projects including artwork to adorn the walls of my friends houses as well as a giant hand crafted chess set I made last Christmas for my husband.
