Bio Lucia is a young artist in search of beauty and inspiration in our everyday, ordinary, and not so ordinary lives. She has no single way of expressing herself, but uses different media to portray her feelings, thoughts, concerns, excitements, as well as simple objects and events she perceives in this world. She was born and raised in Slovakia and moved to Chicago at the age of 16, which gave her an opportunity to follow her heart’s desire to study art. Starting as a studio major she eventually graduated DePaul University with a degree in Graphic Design. This allowed her to combine all the different media she enjoys into her everyday life.
Interested in Photography since her teen years, she recently began using this medium to capture the beauty of things that surround us, as well as, her journey through time. Her pieces usually begin as simple reflections, captures of things and moments that appeal to her. However, sometimes, they evolve and become a part of a larger context.

Influences Many artists, art styles and media, but most of all the experience of life itself.
