Bio Khaleel was born in the year of 1992 in New York, Staten Island. Growing up in an ethnic family Khaleel has always known and embraced his West Indian heritage. As a child he has always been fascinated by the arts. He began pushing notes and dancing to his mothers radio at age 4 trying to imitate songs by artists such as Anita Baker, Luther Vandrose, Boys to Men, New Edition, Maxwell, and Micheal Jackson and many more artists of the music world. In his early years of school Khaleel's first instrument was the flute. He began reading and writing music while he attended Middle School where he took part of the Magnet Program for the arts. While attending Middle School Khaleel also began taking notice of other instruments such as the Guitar and Saxophone, where he played for his schools concert band playing on stage many times and performing for people at after school programs and camps. He has also played for school plays and entered in school competitions going against High Schools. Now Khaleel is constantly advancing his craft by writing and practicing making music with his friend and worker William Allen. With Khaleel's Melting Pot style and unforgettable lyrics for the mind body and spirit, he plans on changing the way people feel and think about music. \"Music has been a third parent for me. Music practically raised me; i use music to communicate to people where the listener can hear and feel what the artists feels through his/her music\". Khaleel constantly looks out for inspiration for his music from the people he encounters to his surroundings of the Big APPLE. He will continue to try to please his audience while pleasing himself and possibly the world one note at a time.
