Biografía Javan J. Cornelius was born in Seattle, Washington in 1981. At a very young age Cornelius decided he wanted to make films. After attending a Historically Black College in Alabama, Cornelius worked on the Sundance selected film "Freedom Riders." Cornelius draws his inspiration from people who create change on all platforms.

Artist Statement

My goal in film is to make the movies that I want to see. I want to make stories that give us a new perspective on events and issues.
