I write screenplays for short films, features and television. At present I am an amatuer and just started to get my skills together so I feel confident enough to enter competitions. Hopefully through these competitions I get some good feedback on how to improve

Bio Im 27, from Conty Wexford in Ireland but now living in Co.Tipperary. At present I write as a hobby and am amatuer but my ideas are primarily stemmed from horror and sci-fi and thus most of my work is fiction based. Other than writing, I enjoy the gym, football, gaelic games and general team based sports. Anything else, feel free to send me a message and I will do my best to answer.
Influences I most enjoy the vision of James Cameron with Aliens being my favourite film. As a kid I was fascinated by Star Wars, then progressed to Star Trek and Stargate. From their, everything space based and others like Smallville, Lost, Heroes and Eureka. For character reference and building I was intrigue by Space: Above and Beyond by Glen Morgan and James Wong. I was surprised it only lasted one season but for the writing alone, it was great. Overall, Cameron is my favourite visionary and lets not forget The Abyss.
