This summer the Soho House Group will launch the Electric Shorts film competition, supported by Mercedes-Benz and in association with Empire Magazine. Fancy yourself a film maker? To celebrate 100 years of the Electric Cinema, Soho House are pleased to launch Electric Shorts, supported by Mercedes-Benz and in association with Empire. The competition gives you the chance to sit in the Director's chair and shoot your own short film.In no more than 400 words, pitch your proposal themed on 'Desire', located in a Soho House site of your choice, and win the opportunity to shoot it for real. |

| HOW THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN |
Invite your friends and fans to vote on your submission! Once the voting period ends, the selection process will take approximately 1 week. Members of the soho house will choose the winner from the top 20 voted submissions. |

| WHAT THE WINNER WILL GET |
Our coveted panel of experts, including Kris Thykier, Nick Jones, Claudia Winkleman, Mark Dinning, Andy Harries, Duncan Heath, Andrew Roberts, Mandy Kean, Rebekah Gilbertson, Josh Berger, Amanda Posey, Finola Dwyerand Mike Goodridge will grant the 7 finalists a £5000 budget to make their film. The shorts will be showcased right here online, at the Electric Cinema, and theAubin Cinema – leaving the public to hand pick our winner! |
