Biografie Douglas Thomson (a.k.a Director Douglas)

I am an experienced, freelance Director, sometimes camerman originally from Canada with a background in hi-end music videos who thinks outside of the box and I have one feature film (edgy drama, with a quirky, dark sense of humour) under my belt along with numerous music videos, commercials, short form work and book trailers.

I have spent time in L.A. and N.Y. but I have lived in the U.K/Spain for the past 9 years (initially Brighton) and London the past five where I am developing my second feature film while directing music videos/book trailers in between and I am all about win/win and empowering those around me and I am considered an actor's director by those actors I have worked with and I am extremely visual and adept at telling a story and elicting a strong performance having studied acting myself, but from a directors pov.

I travel a great deal between North America and Europe and I am all about giving back to fellow artists whenever I can in an Industry which has been good to me.
