A Little Background
On May 18, Scrap Pile Labs launched a Kickstarter project in search of funding to help get the CordLite, an illuminated charger cable, to market by the fall. Within a day, the CordLite was featured on Engadget, TechCrunch, and a ton of other tech blogs, and we're already over 50% funded, 5 days in. It's been exciting to say the least.
The Contest
As part of the Kickstarter campaign, we're offering a special laser engraved version to the top "exclusive" backers. We tried coming up with our own designs, but honestly... they were weak, and our backers deserve better... so we want the world's help. Is that too much to ask?
Why Laser?
We went with a laser engraving, because it looks so cool, but also because the CordLite's capacitive touch design would not allow anodizing, or painting... but mostly because it looks amazing.
Scrap Pile Labs's Choice
3 designs chosen by the Scrap Pile Labs team:
· Will receive an engraved CordLite with their original design.
· Will be sent to production and made available to certain Kickstarter backers.
· Will be featured on scrappile.com with a personal photo and some of their work as well across Scrap Pile Labs' social media channels.
People's Choice
The three highest voted designs will each receive a CordLite illuminated charger cable and will be featured on Scrap Pile Labs' social media channels.
