The first image is the final outcome from an idea about publicising the social epidemic or skin bleaching which is prevalent in many ethnic communities. In an attempt to gain lighter skin, which is deemed more desirable socioculturally, men, women and children seriously risk their health. The second piece is from a fashion/beauty story exploring the "glam goth" trend that was prevalent in fashion, a few seasons ago. It was also my first attempt at airbrushing :)
