My name is Aude. I live in Montreuil, near Paris.
In this short movie, I tried, in spite of the most low-tech equipment ever, to tell you what dancing means to me. Even if I’ve been dancing as far as I can remember, it has taken me a while to decide I wanted to live as a professional dancer, since it seems there is always someone or something to try to convince you you’d rather do something more « serious » with your life than dancing. This is why I never applied to any great dance training center when I was a teenager. But it’s never too late !
I truely hope I will have the opportunity to be part of the Taylor Summer Intensive program, because I think highly of Paul Taylor’s work and it would be an amazing chance to spend a month in New York learning his repertoire, his style, and going deeper into my craft.
My passion is to share feelings, stories and joy through dance. So, whatever the results may be, I sincerely hope I’ll achieve that and you’ll enjoy my video.
