When starting this Design I wanted to incorporate a grungy, rigid feel into the painting of the band members and background to symbolize Green Days punk-rock style. I created a brush with sharp edges which allowed for a nice addition of texture in the skin tones, fabrics, etc. I framed the final painting in a triangular series of glowing green edges.
