My design for the Green Day Facebook's new timeline banner thing. I threw my Green Day discography on shuffle and got to work making this when I saw the contest. I was inspired by the colors and pattern of the new album covers. I have been a long time fan, and while I may not like everything they put out now I still love all of their older stuff. To me, Green Day had that perfect crunchy guitar and vocal bite, along with passionate and poetic lyrics. I grew up to Green Day and I think I'll always have a little part my identity that is based upon Billie Joe.
