My name is Masha Sylnyagina. I live and work in Kiev, Ukraine. And I make headpieces!
I’ve founded the brand ma_sy 2 years ago. First step in my career was Fashion fair for young designers in autumn 2009. I was really amazed that the day after it I received a first inquiry for collaboration from Ukrainian brand X`U. As a result we had a line of headbands made from plastic, mirror fragments and metal elements.
The next was fashion festival ILOVEKIEV (Kiev) and trade show for young designers in Moscow.
I currently work for my own brand ma_sy and collaborate with fashion designers as well take part in commercial projects.
It has been my second season of collaboration with brand BEKh and first season with Valery Kovalska.
My works were published in some Ukrainian magazines like Playing Fashion, Marie Claire, L'Officiel.
I sell my creations in several Ukrainian showrooms, also they are available for ordering on-line via facebook and other social media.
