"I'm just happy to be here." - Chris LeDoux
I had the honor of meeting this special man at Cheyenne Frontier Days in 2003. His smile and genuine kindness lights ya up. He died in 2005 from cancer. He is an icon for rodeo cowboys, as he wrote his own songs while on the rodeo circuit. I feel this photo captures his grace, beauty, charm, and humility. Oh and yeah - most important -- he is a Wyoming cowboy! We even went to the same high school (Cheyenne Central High School).
He was a musician, singer-songwriter, rodeo competitor, bronze sculptor, husband, father, friend, and inspiration.
