My name is Louise Clifford, and this is an image I made for Florence + the Machines song 'Only If For A Night'. Natalie Roberts was a special and inspiring individual who was always full of life and spirit. Since the age of 16, she had bravely fought Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer which mainly affects teenagers. She courageously battled through it, with the help from her parents Heather and Russell and sister Kayleigh, not to mention all of her friends and family and the help of Beatson Oncology Unit. Unfortunately the cancer returned in October 2009 and we sadly lost Natalie on September 12th 2010. She was incredibly inspiring to all of her friends and family. The lyrics made me think of a celestial being who is empowering and inspiring to Florence, and Natalie definitely is to me. I think this would be a fitting tribute to an amazing person, for her to be celebrated on a record cover for an artist she loved and for a charity who helped her and is close to her families heart.
