Morning Parade are a new and exciting indie rock band, inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Elbow and The Stills and are soon to be launching their highly anticipated debut album and embarking on their first European tour. To celebrate the release of their single 'Headlights', Morning Parade, together with Oliver Hammerton, EMI Video Commissioner, are inviting artists to create the official music video for the track, which will be featured across key digital platforms such as YouTube, VEVO and MUZU. Morning Parade are looking for artists to submit a video which is in line with the uplifting vibe and energy of their music and should take inspiration from the multitude of provided Morning Parade videos and imagery.

Morning Parade's Choice

The winning submission will become the official music video for Morning Parade's track 'Headlights', which will be featured and promoted on MUZU, YouTube, VEVO, Daily Motion and other key digital platforms. In addition, the winner will receive $1000.

Three runners-up (as selected by Morning Parade) will have their submissions featured on Morning Parade's social media channels and will receive an exclusive merchandise bag from EMI, including a signed Morning Parade album

People's Choice

The highest voted artist will have their submission promoted on Morning Parade's social media channels. In addition, they will receive:

A Canon Digital Camera, to the value of £175
An exclusive merchandise bag from EMI, including a signed Morning Parade album

How Winner(s) Will Be Chosen

Morning Parade will choose the winner(s) from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

Guidelines

Videos must be 3 mins and 27 secs in length (to match the length of the track)
Participants may download the selection of previously shot short clips and live recordings from the following link: http://vimeo.com/album/1820638 to use as inspiration for their video, or they may include the short clips and live recordings in their submission.
Participants may download the provided Morning Parade photographs, as shown in the link below, as inspiration for their video, or they may include the photographs in their submission.
Video can be made up of previously shot elements, original footage or a combination of the two.
Submissions must be comprised of the participant's original material (i.e. the participant cannot use or incorporate third-party copyright protected content/material(s), or any other content/material that infringes on the rights of any third-party, in whole or in part, in their submission).
Participants are encouraged to be submitted in the highest quality and may be uploaded in HD.
Participants must submit their video using a Vimeo or YouTube URL and then click 'Get Video'. Videos must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the submission deadline.

Official Rules

In order to be chosen as the winner, the selected finalist shall grant ownership of all rights in and to the intellectual property in the winning submission to EMI Records in consideration of US$1,000 prize monies. This assignment of rights will be arranged directly between Morning Parade's representatives and the winner.
The winner will be allowed to use their submission for portfolio purposes.
Morning Parade has the right, but not the obligation, to use the winning submission.
Morning Parade has the right to modify the winner's submission as necessary.
