We are looking for henna artists, graphic designers and creative types alike who would like to help design the newest batch of "Henna Crown" designs for our summer clients.
Henna Crowns are temporary designs that are drawn in natural henna paste on the head of someone experiencing complete hair loss, usually cancer patients or people with alopecia (genetic hair loss).
The chosen 2D submissions will be interpreted by our skilled henna artists and drawn on the heads of our models, who will then be professionally photographed. A digital copy of the edited photograph will be sent to you to be displayed in your own portfolio, so you can show the original 2D art-piece contrasted with a beautiful photograph of one of our clients "wearing" your art.
The artist of our favorite design will recieve $200.
Henna Heals's Choice
After reviewing submissions, Henna Heals artists will select designs which will be drawn on our models' heads with henna, professionally photographed, and showcased in various Henna Heals social media channels, potentially including the Henna Heals website and other places in the world wide web. Collaborators will receive full credit for their contributions to the Henna Heals "Henna Crown" project and will receive a digital copy of the final photograph to be displayed in their own portfolio.
Additionally, the artist of our favorite design will reveive a $200 prize.
People's Choice
- The three highest voted artists will receive exposure on the host's social media channels
- A review of your material and a call back with the decision of who the host wants to work with.
- Potentially collaborate on future projects
