Öz Geçmiş Eins†ellung, is a Chilean artists' collective conformed by Cesare Serra,
director, actor y photographer, Antonio Contreras, designer, and
Carolina Sandoval, visual artist. The group works on the bases of the
quote and the crossing of diverse materials and formats. Their work is
situated mainly within the audiovisual, fashion design and theatre
territories; hence creating performances, videos and installations.
These productions in their foremost are marked by concepts of rite,
clandestinity, tenebrism and death. The influences by chiaroscuro and
the academist photography of the late XIX century are clearly
recognized.

" We are interested in samples, the reordering of diverse materials,
capable of generating a new continiuum, "a new hereafter of scene", a
space of echoings with what we want, which at the same time, wants us."

Eins†ellung, es un colectivo de artistas chilenos formado por Cesare Serra, director, actor y fotógrafo, Antonio Contreras, diseñador industrial, vestuario y de interaccion, y Carolina Sandoval, artista visual, grupo que trabaja a partir de la cita y el cruce de formatos y materiales heterogéneos. Principalmente sus trabajos se sitúan dentro del territorio audiovisual, moda y teatro, realizando performances, videos e instalaciones, producciones que en su mayoría, están atravesadas por el rito, la clandestinidad, “el tenebrismo” y la muerte. En sus trabajos se puede apreciar ciertas influencias del claro oscuro y fotografía academicista de finales del siglo xix.

“Nos interesa el sample, el reordenamiento de materialidades diversas, capaces de generar un nuevo continuo, “un nuevo devenir de la escena”, un espacio de reverberancia con lo que deseamos, y a su vez, nos desea”.
