Öz Geçmiş Something characteristic of Carlo Carrizosa is the seeking for astonishment to be produced by his work, this is ultimately his leitmotiv, to be able to transmit something different through clothing.

Art has always have a relevant role in Carrizosa's life, aged just seven years old several of his oil painting were exhibited in the most prestigious galleries of Tolima and Magdalena (Colombia).

Once strong technique basis and a proper use of colour skills were developed, Carrizosa decides to get into the fashion world by launching his own line of accessories which aloud him to start his experimentation in the field of design.

After Carrizosa finished the secondary school he decides to settle in Bogota and enrolled in the Lasalle College international design school. At college he standed out as an persevering seeker of an authentic aesthetic which showed his identity as a designer by giving to the traditional dress making an updated and fresh look. Soon he realized that a good part of the technique was already acquired and that the rest of the his job was given by his own sensibility.

Carlo Carrizosa, graduated with honours as a Fashion designer in 2009, his thesis (Transfiguration) inspired by the architect Mario Botta got a place in the young designers runway of chocoline (circulo de la moda de Bogotá ) and in the Monterrey Fashion in Mexico, in both events his collections, faithful to his haute cuture aesthetic, got excellent critics and was invited to be part on several fashion productions.

Aged 20 years old, Carrizosa is in NY .already has 4 collections on his growing portfolio, several projects of artistic direction and styling. Additionally, he has developed market studies works for the italian brand A-style in Colombia and has assisted in the design workshops of Hernan Zajar and the spanish brand Casta y puro.
