Self taught passionate artist - photographer. Intense Simplicity often describes my work...I am a Lover of all creatures big and small.. ..Conceptual blk & wht portraits are my specialty.To be able to create magic and memories is just wonderful..I prefer the outdoors to studio sessions,something more primal and exciting..PLaying with your surroundings creating a mood.a story of sorts is half the fun..
I was given a camera at a very young age. My mother was a night club photographer in NYC back in the 30's. She had a camera in her hands 80 % of my life . It is so cool to be able to see our lives through her photos and film. She is always my inspiration. And of course my beautiful daughter. Who will not let me shoot her any more..I guess i have taken enough. But you know how it is for us photographers... camera always ready and i will shoot almost everything i see. No matter where i look a photo could be born.I am drawn to single things, why i love portraits.I can be a bit dark and sad which comes out in my work often. More so in my nature and landscape work..Life is like a movie..and i want to caprutre as much as i can .
