Öz Geçmiş Britton Morgan is an American rapper and record producer. Although Britton has yet to release a debut album, he has been actively involved with creating and producing original music since 2004. As a producer he works alongside his production team KBD. Together they have had their beat instrumentals catch the attention of many successful recording artists and entertainment figures, including but not limited to: Shawty Lo, Lloyd, Bobby Valentino as well as “Bob” of Tim & Bob productions. Britton is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration along the Pre-Medical track. Instead of going directly into medical school, he decided to narrow his focus and concentrate on pursuing a professional career as a rapper/record producer in the entertainment industry. Since 2007, Britton, has been one of the more common names circulating in the underground mix tape scene in Atlanta. He has consistently solidified slots on a series of mix tapes called “Hood Hitz” which is sponsored by a local band of DJs that are members of the regionally heralded “Legion of Doom”. Britton has also been a familiar name in another series of mix tapes called the “Children of the Da Korn”, which is sponsored by radio personalities of Hot 107.9 fm in Atlanta, as well as the on-line distributed “YO raps” mix-tape series. Britton got his claim to fame when Atlanta based DJ Feel X invited him to come down to WRFG 89.3 fm to discuss his music while they played a few of his songs via a live radio broadcast. Since that interview, Britton has attracted more and more fans of all ages and ethnicities because of his versatility and originality. Today, Britton is continuing to exercise his focus on a professional career in the entertainment industry, while being persistent with his artistic ability and performing wherever possible.

Artistically, Britton has a style that blends the genres of hip-hop and jazz primarily (among a host of others). The perfect way to summarize his lyrical foundation is to imagine minimal profanity coupled with the use of word-play. This in-turn allows him to illustrate a playful image that anybody of any age can relate to. As for production, Britton produces alongside his long time friends Michael Johnson and Randy Cross; together they form the production team KBD., which is an acronym of the phrase Kool By Dezign. Their production is software based and is centered on the programs: Reason 3.0, Fruity Loops Studio, Acid Pro 4.0, Cubase SX3, Pro-Tools LE, along with the use of Triton and Yamaha Keyboards.
