I have a variety of works in the visual arts. My most intense interest is devoted to creating large abstract paintings on canvas or walls. Some are flat and some are semi three dimensional. My other body of work created is a portfolio of abstract photography shot with a macro lens at very close range exploring the intricacies of color and distorted forms which are uniquely different from traditional standard and wide angel narrative shooting.
Location United States, Ct, Hartford
Bio I am a painter living in Hartford CT. I went to the Hartford Art School of the University of Hartford and received my BFA in 2002. Upon graduation I set out to develop a unique body of work that investigates color, line and spacial relationships within a construction of classical forms. I have strong interests in duplicity and opposites, chiefly now as organization versus chaos. Since then I have been steadily working, showing extensively in CT and NY.
Influences I try to take anything of importance and let that influence me. This entails art in all the senses, be it music, painting, dance, food, etc. I feel most inspired by the works of Van Gogh, Howard Hodgkin, Leger, Pollock, de Kooning, Goya, Picasso, Turner, Jasper Johns, Rauschenberg.
