Expertise in drawing, painting, and digital image creation, from concept to finish. Able to work in a myriad of styles and formats, including editorial and advertising illustration, storyboarding, character design, and cartooning. Production
experience with hard and soft goods, product development, branding and marketing collaterals.

Design:

Strong knowledge of 4-color process, pre-press, scanning, color correction and retouching. Expertise in page layout and image manipulation, including conceptualization and design of graphic images, logos and icons. Experience working with printers and service bureaus to ensure optimal results of printed projects.

Software/Tools:

Thorough knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Painter. Working knowledge of Indesign, ImageReady, and Dreamweaver.

Nick Beery aka BeeryMethod brings experience from a vast array of creative disciplines including fine art, photography, illustration, and graphic design to a variety of clientele. He approaches every project with a high level of expertise in information artistry and resourcing as well as unique methodologies in producing iconic work that appeals to the counter-culture and urban underground scenes. A deep background with commercial & boutique apparel, the action-sports industry, record labels, graphic novels & publishing, as well as commissioned work in a multitude of creative venues makes Beery's various styles available on an assortment of media.

Beery is currently the Art Director/Product Line Manager for Defiant in Seattle WA. He is deeply engaged in the Pacific Northwest art scene where he curates and organizes collaborative events and shows. Aside from his personal work, Beery offers his skills as a freelance artist to a diversity of independent creatives. When not working on graphics, products, and creative marketing he resides in the studio painting and producing some of the most sub-pop cultural imagery known locally and abroad. His work runs the gamut from sexy female portraiture, surreal alien landscapes, to undead-zombie and hobo-eater characters.
