Amazon Studios, a creative home for filmmakers, writers and all movie enthusiasts, is inviting artists to design a poster for one of eleven high-profile Action/Adventure film projects in development. Artists should read the story premises in 'About the Scripts' below and choose a script that they're most excited about. The winner will be selected by Amazon Studios and two guest judges: Arthur Cohen, former President of Worldwide Marketing for Paramount Pictures and Sanjay Sood, Associate Professor of Marketing at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and Faculty Director of the Entertainment Media & Management Institute at UCLA.

Amazon Studios is an online movie development process that invites filmmakers and screenwriters to collaborate, get feedback and make their stories even better. Outstanding projects will be made into test movies, visual rough drafts that will be promoted to a worldwide audience.

Host's Choice
One winner will have their design featured as the official poster for one of eleven Action/Adventure projects in development. The winner will receive $1,000 and global exposure by having their poster promoted on Amazon Studios' official website and across their social media channels.
Two runners-up (as selected by Amazon Studios, Arthur Cohen and Sanjay Sood) will each have their submission featured on Amazon Studios' website.

How Winner(s) Will Be Chosen
The host will choose the winner(s) from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.
Guidelines
• Participants may submit one design in JPEG or PNG format.
• If selected as the winner, the participant must provide their artwork in digital source files at 27” x 40”
• Participants may log in using their Amazon.com account in order to download the script of their choice.
• Participants acknowledge that Amazon Studios may require additional elements to be added to the winning design before the design is produced.
Official Rules
- By uploading your submission, you agree to these contest rules.
- The contest is void where prohibited by law.
- To be eligible to enter or win the contest, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you reside, whichever is older).
- To be eligible to enter or win the contest, you may not be (i) an employee (or contractor involved in the judging process) of either Talenthouse Inc. (“Talenthouse”) or Amazon Services LLC or any of its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates (collectively, “Amazon”), or advertising or promotion agencies, (ii) a member of the immediate family of such employee or contractor (spouse, parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), or (iii) a member of the same household, whether or not related, of such employee or contractor. Each participant who meets all of the eligibility requirements set forth in these rules and any other Talenthouse rules and conditions to which the participant has consented (“Talenthouse Rules”) is called an “Eligible Entrant” and their submission is referred to as an “Eligible Submission”.
- You may not use any materials provided to you by Amazon or Talenthouse (“Pre-existing Materials”) other than for developing and contributing a submission, and you hereby disclaim any other right, title or interest in all Pre-existing Materials.
- You acknowledge that (a) many works or entries may be very similar to each other or to your work or entry and (b) all judging and other award-related decisions are final and binding in all respects (without prejudice to any rights you have under applicable law) and you agree to abide by all such decisions.
- You irrevocably and forever waive any legal claim you may have under any theory of law in any territory, including, without limitation, copyright infringement or breach of implied in fact contract (idea submission), that your rights were infringed due to any similarity between your submission, any other submission, unless there is substantial similarity of protectable expression under United States copyright law between your submissions and the other content.
- You grant Amazon a worldwide, royalty-free, non-terminable, sub-licensable, transferable right, to copy, use, distribute, display and modify your submission, and to create derivative works based on your submission. You will not grant similar rights in your submission to anyone else, and you may not distribute or offer your submission for sale without Amazon’s prior written consent.
- In order to be selected as an award recipient, an Eligible Entrant contacted will be required to complete (i) a certificate of eligibility and a liability and publicity release (other than where requiring such releases as a condition to a contest award is prohibited by law) and (ii) any other releases and documentation Amazon may request, including, for example, any assignment documents, all of which must be completed and returned within 5 business days of Amazon’s request. Amazon may disqualify you if (i) Amazon’s notice to you is returned, or undeliverable or Amazon is otherwise unable to contact you, (ii) you do not complete, sign and return all documentation requested within the specified period, (iii) you do not comply with these rules or any Talenthouse Rules, or (v) Amazon or Talenthouse receives any notice, claim or dispute about your entry. If any of the foregoing occurs, Amazon may select new award recipients for the contest.
- In order to be chosen as the winner, an Eligible Entrant must grant ownership of all rights in and to the intellectual property to the Eligible Submission to Amazon. The winner will be allowed to use their submission solely in their personal portfolio, subject to these rules and any Talenthouse Rules.
- Amazon has the right, but not the obligation, to use the winning submission.
- By participating in the contest, you agree, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to release, discharge and hold harmless Amazon and any judge, analyst or other person or entity who assists in the judging or administration of the contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advisors, advertising or promotion agencies, and the respective officers, members, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives and associates of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from your participation in any contest, any Released Party’s or any third party’s use of any contest entry or any contest-related material or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any award (including any activity related to it). Some jurisdictions restrict limitations of liability and some or all of these limitations may not apply to you.
